The Registered Respiratory Therapist will evaluate and provide care for patients with respiratory insufficiencies by developing and implementing individualized treatment plans. They are also responsible for monitoring patient conditions, performing advanced respiratory modalities, and responding to emergency resuscitation codes.
Candidates must hold a valid Florida Board of Respiratory Care credential and a BLS provider certification. Educational requirements include a high school diploma with two years of experience, or an associate/technical degree.

BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Respiratory Therapist credentialed from the Florida Board of Respiratory Care obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
