Independently manage and provide full-scope midwifery care in an outpatient clinic, including comprehensive obstetric and gynecological services. Collaborate with clinical colleagues and provide leadership on Labor & Delivery, while participating in quality improvement initiatives.
Candidates should have experience in managing intrapartum, postpartum, and OB triage in a hospital setting, with a preference for 2 years of experience. Active certification with AMCB and current RN and APRN licenses in Texas are required, along with NRP and BLS certifications.
Experience in managing intrapartum, postpartum, and OB triage in a hospital setting (2 yrs experience preferred) Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative OB/CNM practice Strong communication skills and intrapersonal skills Value patient preferences/choice, shared decision making, and a holistic care approach Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by start date Active certification with AMCB Current RN and APRN license in TX Additional certifications in Obstetric Ultrasound, Advanced Fetal Monitoring, and/or Lactation consultation are preferred
