As a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant, you will assist occupational therapists in implementing treatment plans and support patients in exercises that improve their daily living skills. You will also monitor patient progress and educate patients and their families on therapy techniques.
Candidates must be a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant with current licensure and an associate's degree from an accredited COTA program. Strong communication skills and a compassionate attitude toward patients are essential, along with basic knowledge of medical terminology.
