  • Category: Health CareThe Dental Assistant works energetically to improve and secure CHCL as the medical and dental home for our clients. Under the general supervision of a Dental Director and the Site Manager, the Dental Assistant provides chair side assistance and support for the Dentist; performs such procedures as x-rays and sterilization of dental instruments; and provides dental education, especially to children and their parents or caregivers.
  • QualificationsEducation: High School graduation or GED equivalent.

Licensure

Texas RDA Certificate.

Experience

One year experience as a chair side assistant preferred. One year experience in ordering and maintaining supplies preferred. New Dental Assistants are welcomed to apply.

Expertise

Extensive radiology experience or a Radiology Certificate from the State of Texas. Must be qualified in BLS techniques.

Language

English; bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.

Travel

Employees may be required to travel for continuing education or testing purposes, health fairs, and off-site clinics.

Work: 8am-5pm with some weekend/evening work.
