The Community Engagement Health Worker develops and maintains relationships with faith-based and community organizations to provide education, training, and support. They work as part of a clinical team to deliver crisis and trauma support services across various community settings.
Candidates must possess a high school diploma or equivalent and hold or obtain a Michigan Community Health Worker certification within one year. A minimum of one year of experience working with community-based groups addressing social needs is required.

High school diploma or equivalency AND Michigan CHW certification OR complete CHW certification within one (1) year of hire AND a minimum of one (1) year experience working with community based groups or organizations that focus on addressing social needs and concerns.
Employee must maintain Community Health Worker certification to retain employment.
Individual with a strong knowledge of Genesee County community resources and organizations.
