Radiology Technologists will operate x-ray equipment to perform routine radiographs and fluoroscopic procedures under the direction of a radiologist. They will also assist in the clinical instruction of radiography students and other personnel as needed.
Candidates must be graduates of an accredited school of radiologic technology and licensed to practice in Radiology in Vermont or New York. ARRT Certification is also required.

RADIOLOGY TECHNOLOGIST JOB DESCRIPTION: Radiology Technologists will demonstrate progressive knowledge and sense of responsibility in the daily operations of the radiology department. They operate a variety of x-ray equipment to perform routine radiographs and fluoroscopic procedures according to established practices under the direction of a radiologist, supervisor, and lead technologists. Our Xray Techs assist in the clinical instruction of radiography students and other personnel as needed. Radiologic Technologists may be required to work a variety of shifts, at multiple campuses, weekends, holidays, and take call on a rotational basis. RADIOLOGY TECHNOLOGIST PRE-EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS: Graduate of an accredited school of radiologic technology approved by CAHEA/JRCERT. Licensed with the State of Vermont or State of New York to practice in Radiology prior to start date. ARRT Certification will be required as well.
