The Advanced Practice Provider will manage new patient admissions and provide follow-up care for inpatients, including those in the ICU with mechanical circulatory support. Responsibilities also include managing chronic inotrope infusions and overseeing pre- and post-operative heart transplant patients.
Candidates must be a licensed Physician Assistant or Advanced Practice Registered Nurse in the state of Florida with Acute Care or Gerontology certification. Experience in Advanced Heart Failure, Transplant, and General Cardiology is preferred.
PA and/or NP, with Acute Care or Gerontology certification is eligible for this role. Advanced Heart Failure, Transplant, and General Cardiology experience preferred. Current licensure as Advanced Practice Registered Nurse or Physician Assistant in the State of Florida.
