The Pool Chaplain provides spiritual support to patients, visitors, and staff members using various pastoral skills. They are responsible for performing duties in accordance with the mission, vision, and values of Tampa General Hospital.
A bachelor's degree in a related field and one year of healthcare experience are required. Additionally, candidates must have one unit of Clinical Pastoral Education and denominational endorsement for chaplaincy.
Under the supervision of the Manager of Spiritual Health and Education, the Pool Chaplain provides spiritual support to patients, visitors and staff members. Uses, as appropriate, a wide range of pastoral skills, including listening/attending, empathic reflection, conflict resolution/confrontation, crisis management and appropriate use of religious/spiritual resources. Responsible for performing job duties in accordance with mission, vision and values of Tampa General Hospital.
Bachelors degree in related field and 1 year of healthcare experience required. Master of Divinity degree or equivalent preferred and required within two years of hire, 1 unit of Clinical Pastoral Education required and denominational endorsement for chaplaincy required.
