Medical Office RN/LPN/MA / North Baltimore Family Practice / Full Time In accordance with the mission of Wood Health Company, and within the scope of the Ohio Board of Nursing, the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will provide clinical and administrative support in a medical office setting, under the direction of the physician and office manager/coordinator.
The LPN is accountable for the delivery of patient care utilizing the nursing process within the standards, policies, procedures, and guidelines of the organization.
Job Duties: Assist physician or provider with patient assessment, examinations and treatments.
Documents patient care observations and activities according to professional standards and procedures.
Administers routine injections under the direction and supervision of a provider.
Promptly responds to patient phone calls and concerns.
Triages patient phones calls, in accordance with office policy.
Obtains specimens (i.e. throat, urine, wound, etc) using proper technique and following policy and protocol for labeling.
