The Physical Therapist evaluates, plans, and administers physical therapy treatments as prescribed by a physician. They also coordinate and supervise supportive staff while participating in departmental performance and quality improvement activities.
Candidates must hold a Master's degree or higher in Physical Therapy and possess a current New York State license. At least three years of experience and current BCLS certification are required.
The Physical Therapist is responsible for the evaluation, planning, directing and administering physical therapy modalities of treatment as prescribed by a licensed physician. Coordinates delegates and supervises responsibilities assigned to supportive staff. Maintains performance activities within the department and participates in CQI activities.
