The coordinator will oversee and participate in completing the Resident Assessment Instrument (MDS, CAA's, and Care Plan) according to Federal and State Regulations. This role also involves monitoring and documenting the management of Medicare and Managed Care residents in collaboration with facility team members.
Candidates must possess a current, unencumbered, active state license to practice as an RN and have six months of experience specifically as an MDS Coordinator. Experience in Skilled Nursing/Rehabilitation facilities is preferred, and RAC-CT or RNAC certification is desired.
