The dental assistant will support dentists and hygienists by preparing patients, assisting during dental procedures, and maintaining a sterile clinical environment. They are also responsible for capturing diagnostic x-rays, performing basic dental procedures, and managing patient records.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Work Experience: Entry level to 11 months of experience as a dental assistant. Experience in a customer facing role, preferred. Working knowledge of computer required. Education, Certification and Licensure: Graduation from high school or equivalent, preferred. Must have current or be able to obtain CPR/BLS certificate upon hire. Additional Skills & Knowledge: Bilingual preferred.
