Paynesville Hospital is looking to add a Surgical Technologist to their team!
In this role, you will perform a combination of tasks before, during and after surgery to assist the surgical team.
You will be responsible for preparing the operating rooms for a wide range of surgeries and procedures, assist as directed during operations as well as track inventory of surgical materials and tools to assure patient safety.
You will work closely with physicians, CRNA’s, registered nurses and other surgical personnel to deliver quality patient care.
This position may cross train to the Melrose Hospital Schedule Casual | 8 – 16 hours every two weeks | Paynesville Hospital 6:30 am – 3:00 pm (Dependent on surgery schedule) Possible rotating on call shifts Pay and Benefits Starting pay begins at $34.48 per hour and increases with experience Pay range: $30.65 - $46.90 per hour Casual benefits available: casual PTO plan, wellness reward points, 401(k), employee assistance plan, and employee discounts!
Successful completion of an accredited Surgical Technologist program Certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) within 1 year of hire Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Healthcare Provider card Must be able to respond within 30 minutes to on-call situations CentraCare has made a commitment to diversity in its workforce.
