The Licensed Practical Nurse provides direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, including treatments, assessments, and interdisciplinary care planning. They are responsible for executing the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation while communicating clinical changes to the medical team.
Candidates must have graduated from an accredited LPN program and hold a current state license as a Licensed Practical Nurse. Additionally, the role requires CPR/BCLS certification and prefers candidates with at least six months of medical/surgical experience in an acute care setting.

How you’ll contribute
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, delivering treatments, assisting in assessments, and supporting interdisciplinary care planning in accordance with the patient’s needs. Provides planning and delivery of direct and indirect patient care through the nursing process of Assessment, Planning, Intervention, and Evaluation. Develops nursing care plans in coordination with the patient, family, and interdisciplinary staff as necessary. Communicates changes in the patient's clinical condition with Physicians, Nursing Supervisor/Manager, and co-workers as appropriate.
