The Physical Therapy Assistant will administer various therapy modalities and instruct patients on the use of therapy devices under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist. They are also responsible for documenting patient progress, maintaining equipment, and performing necessary clerical duties.
Candidates must be licensed by the State of Ohio and have completed an accredited physical therapy training program. The role requires adherence to patient safety protocols, professional communication standards, and the ability to work across various practice areas.

Work under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist as dictated by the Ohio revised code. Be able to work in the following practice areas: medical/surgical, outpatient, home healthcare. Be able to treat individuals through the life span. This professional person will be licensed by the State of Ohio and have completed an accredited training program to meet all educational requirements.
