The Registered Nurse will perform scrub and circulating functions, including monitoring patient conditions and managing nursing care before, during, and after procedures. They will also assist the operating physician with surgical tasks such as suturing, hemostasis, and wound exposure.
Candidates must hold a valid Florida Registered Nurse license and obtain BLS and Advanced Life Support certifications within the specified timeframes. A diploma from an accredited nursing school is required, with a preference for one year of vascular or neuroendovascular experience.

How you’ll make an impact in this role Perform scrub functions including the selection and handling of instruments and supplies used during procedure. Perform circulating functions including monitoring, recording, and communicating patient condition and managing overall nursing care of patient before, during and after procedure. Directly assists operating physician with surgical tasks including hemostasis, suturing, and wound exposure as well as patient positioning. Prepare operating rooms and surgical instruments and equipment for use.
Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Registered Nurse credentialed from the Florida Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
What additional preferences we're seeking 1 - 2 years of experience in a main OR as a nurse 1 year of Vascular or Neuroendovascular experience
