The Hospice Aide provides hands-on personal care and hygiene support to patients in home and facility settings according to the care plan. They are responsible for observing and reporting changes in patient conditions to the RN while maintaining a compassionate and professional environment.
Candidates must hold a current Texas CNA certification, CPR certification, and a valid driver's license with auto insurance. A high school diploma or GED and completion of an approved nursing assistant program are required.
Hospice Aide (CNA) – Full-Time & PRN Location: Arlington, TX + Surrounding Service Area
Job Summary The Hospice Aide (CNA) provides hands-on personal care to patients in accordance with the care plan developed and supervised by the RN. This role is essential to ensuring patient comfort, dignity, and consistency of care in both home and facility settings.

Required Credentials Current Texas CNA certification Current CPR certification (Healthcare Provider) Current TB test (or willingness to obtain; may be provided) Valid (non-expired) Texas driver’s license Proof of auto insurance
Education & Experience High school diploma or GED Completion of an approved nursing assistant program Previous experience in hospice, home health, or hospital setting preferred Acceptable professional references Ability to pass pre-employment CNA competency evaluation
Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
