The Certified Nursing Assistant provides direct, hands-on care to residents to ensure their physical, mental, and emotional well-being. Responsibilities include assisting with activities of daily living, documenting care, and reporting changes in resident conditions to the Charge Nurse.
Candidates must have completed an approved training program and passed competency examinations in clinical skills and written knowledge. The role requires adherence to safety policies, infection control guidelines, and professional standards of resident care.
We have openings for full-time (30+ hours weekly) and part-time (up to 29 hours weekly) positions. Weekend Package - Work Friday, Saturday, Sunday and receive an additional 10 hours of Baylor Pay.

The Certified Nurse Assistant is responsible to provide direct, hands-on care to residents in a nursing home environment to ensure residents attain or maintain the highest possible physical, mental and emotional well-being possible.
Maintain, improve and/or enhance each resident’s quality of care and quality of life Assists residents with activities of daily living as outlined in the care plan Completes documentation of resident care as assigned Reports changes in resident’s condition immediately to the Charge Nurse Attends and participates in facility meetings and in-service training programs as assigned Follows and upholds policies and procedures with a special focus on safety policies and procedures while performing personal and nursing care for residents Follows infection control guidelines Observes residents’ rights including, but not limited to, privacy, dignity, and confidentiality, thereby helping to providing quality care and a quality life to each resident Promotes positive public relations with residents, family members and guests Performs all other duties as assigned by the Charge Nurse, Director of Nursing and/or the Executive Director QualificationsQualifications: The Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) must have completed an approved training program and passed competency examinations in clinical skills and written knowledge in accordance with statutory requirements for Certified Nurse Assistant.
