The Registered Dental Assistant supports dental care delivery by preparing treatment rooms, patients, and instruments while assisting the dentist during procedures. They are also responsible for administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, answering phones, and maintaining compliance with state and federal regulations.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent and be a graduate of an approved dental assistant program. Additionally, current CPR certification and certification by the Dental Assisting National Board are required.
Education: 1. High School graduate or Equivalent. 2. Graduate of an approved Dental Assistant program. (Preferred) 3. Certification by the Dental Assisting National Board Experience/Training: 1. Experience in Dental Practice Operations and Dental Software Systems. 2. Computer Literate. 3. Must have current CPR certification
