Performs a variety of complex technical ultrasound assignments under the direction of the Sonographer Coordinator. Exercises professional judgment and technical knowledge to conduct diagnostic procedures with minimal supervision.
Requires completion of training at an approved ultrasound school and BLS certification. Preferred qualifications include three years of experience and ARDMS certification.
Under the direction of the Sonographer Coordinator, performs with minimal supervision a diversity of technical ultrasound assignments, diagnostic and complex in nature, which require theoretical insight and experience. Exercise complex skill, judgment and knowledge of the principles and methods of the radiographic technical field.
• Registered specialist (ultrasound one year additional training at AMA approved school in ultrasound).
