The LPN is responsible for providing quality patient care and maintaining accurate, timely documentation within an ambulatory clinic setting. They also manage medication inventory, clinic compliance, and patient flow to ensure efficient operations.
Candidates must hold a valid Louisiana state license as a Licensed Practical Nurse and possess a High School Diploma or GED. Completion of an accredited LPN training program and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification are required.
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is a graduate of an accredited nursing program and holds Louisiana state licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse in good standing. The LPN has duties and responsibilities related to patient care in the ambulatory clinic environment. Qualifications Education The minimum education level required for the position is High School Diploma or GED, and completion of an accredited LPN training program, community college, and /or vocational school. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Work Experience 1 year of experience working in the clinic setting preferred Other (licensure, certifications) Licensed Practical Nurse in good standing without restrictions ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Extended periods of sitting required.
