PRN Inpatient Nursing Assistant

• Astera Health is seeking a Nursing Assistant/Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) with a passion to be part of the Inpatient Nursing (Med/Surg) team. Inpatient Nursing Assistants are primarily responsible for providing direct patient care on the Med/Surg floor in coalition with the Registered Nurses and Providers, and are considered vital in our workflow processes as they directly care for our patients. This position is for a PRN/casual status in the inpatient unit. Astera Health offers a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, vision, life and retirement. Some responsibilities of the Inpatient Nursing Assistant include, but are not limited to the following:
• Observing and reporting patient data
• Performing patient care and assistance
• Ensuring applicable patient and family needs are met
• Taking patient records
• Maintaining patient care supplies

Education and experience required

• Nurse’s Aide Technical Training or Certification - preferred
• Maintain active BLS certification
