Evaluates patients for noninvasive cardiac stress testing and administers exercise and pharmacologic tests. Manages IV access, contrast agents, and provides initial management for arrhythmias or adverse events during testing.
Requires a nursing degree and current Registered Nurse licensure in Connecticut, with BLS and ACLS certifications. Preference is given to BSN graduates with at least two years of experience in cardiology, emergency, or critical care.
Education: Graduate of an accredited college or university affiliated nursing program. BSN graduates preferred.
- current licensure as a Registered nurse in state of Connecticut Minimum two years of clinical experience preferred in cardiology, emergency, critical care or outpatient diagnostic imaging. Strong understanding of cardiac anatomy and rhythm recognition.
