- Description: In Saint Mary’s Hospital, our Behavioral Health Team brings a compassionate approach to meet the unique needs of our patients and their families. We treat various behavioral health conditions with dignity and respect by creating stigma-free environments that foster inclusion and high-quality of care.
- What will you do: Nursing support for the patient and their families is a catalyst for change and empowerment towards recovery from behavioral health conditions Nurses provide meaningful feedback that helps our multidisciplinary team tailor treatment goals to the individual needs of every person. Educating and supporting patients and their families during the BH Admission Nursing care is key for safety and patient satisfaction. You will lead patient observations, milieu management, and help communicate and address emergent needs of the people we treat.
Minimum Qualifications
Education: Graduate of an accredited college or university affiliated nursing program. BSN graduates preferred.
Licensure
Current Licensure as a Registered Nurse RN in Connecticut.
Certification
BLS required.
