The technologist will perform various clinical and research procedures requiring independent judgment, producing and evaluating CT images for technical quality. Responsibilities also include proper identification of images and patients, effective use of judgment for protocols, and oversight and documentation of contrast media delivery.
Candidates must possess a High School diploma or equivalent and be a graduate of an accredited two-year radiologic technology program. Required credentials include ARRT registration, an NYS DOH Radiology license, certification to inject contrast, and at least one year of experience as a Diagnostic Technologist.

Performs a variety of clinical and research procedures that will require independent judgment, with ingenuity and imitative. The technologists will produce and evaluate CT images for technical quality, properly identifies images and patient and effectively uses judgment for protocols and procedures. Medication oversight which includes documentation of delivery of contrast media. Adheres to hospital and departmental policies and procedures and JCAHO/regulatory agency requirements.
High School diploma or equivalent Must be a graduate of an accredited two-year program in radiologic technology ARRT registration and NYS DOH Radiology license required; certified to inject contrast 1 year experience working as a Diagnostic Technologist required Knowledge and working experience in Computerized Axid Tomography preferred BLS- American Heart Association (only accepted)
