The Lactation Consultant will assist WIC mothers and infants with complex breastfeeding challenges. They will provide specialized support that exceeds the scope of practice for WIC peer counselors.
Candidates must possess an IBCLC accreditation. At least one year of experience in counseling breastfeeding mother/infant dyads is required.

The WIC Program is seeking a Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) to assist WIC mothers and infants with complex breastfeeding problems that are outside the scope of practice of WIC peer counselors and other WIC staff.
This job reports to the Clark County WIC Breastfeeding Coordinator
