Responsibilities

• Operate computed tomography (CT) equipment to produce diagnostic cross-sectional images of bones, organs, and tissues
• Perform additional imaging procedures as needed, including general radiography and fluoroscopy
• Ensure proper patient positioning, shielding, and adherence to radiation safety protocols
• Verify orders, prepare patients for imaging, and maintain clear communication with radiologists and staff
• Maintain image quality through correct protocol selection, documentation, and routine equipment checks
• Document procedures, ensure proper labeling and image routing per department policies

Requirements

• Active radiologic technology license or eligibility to practice in California
• ARRT CT certification or CT certification eligibility
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Ability to work nights and participate in a travel assignment
• Associate degree or higher in Radiologic Technology or an equivalent credential
• Competent handling of patient care in a fast-paced imaging environment
