We are a busy, well-established Family Practice with an expanding Provider list in need of a caring, dedicated care giver for our patients.

We treat patients ranging from birth and up, focusing on both acute and chronic medical conditions.

We are looking for someone with experience in patient care and a positive attitude.

We strive for a family-like atmosphere with supportive staff and care about our employees individually while maintaining high quality professionalism and expertise.

How you'll contribute

An MA who excels in this role

Duties include assisting with the direct care of patients as well as other clinic activities such as preparation and information documentation for the patient’s visit including obtaining vitals, medical history and other pertinent information from the patient.

Prepares exam rooms for patients.

May assist with procedures as directed by the Provider.

Assists with collection of lab samples.

What we're looking for

Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent. Additional requirements include:

Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS). Certification must be completed within 30 days of hire and maintained.

Required Skills: Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.

Education: High school diploma or equivalent

Work experience: Past experience in the medical field is preferred, but working as a medical assistant in a physician’s office is not required.

Requirements

Applicants must have a high school diploma or equivalent and obtain Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire. Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to work with minimal supervision are required.
