The Licensed Clinical Social Worker will provide direct clinical services, including individual, family, and group therapy, to adolescent and adult patients. They will also conduct psychosocial assessments, develop treatment plans, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient care.
Candidates must hold a Master's degree in social work and a valid New York State LCSW license. A minimum of 5 years of social work experience and fluency in both English and Spanish are required.
Description BMS Family Health Center is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our behavioral health team. This role provides direct clinical services to adolescent and adult patients our primary care and school-based clinic settings.
The LCSW will deliver high-quality, patient-centered care through individual, family, and group therapy, while ensuring all documentation meets established mental health standards. This role also contributes to a collaborative, interdisciplinary care environment.
Fluency in English and Spanish is a plus!
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Master’s degree in social work from an accredited program Valid New York State LCSW license 5 or more years of social work experience Bilingual in English and Spanish (advanced or native Spanish language speaker), preferred. Completion of Mandated Reporter Training Current CPR and Infection Control certifications Strong organizational, time management, and planning skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong knowledge of child and adolescent development. Ability to build positive, trusting relationships with youth and families. Excellent clinical documentation and professional writing skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Electronic Health Records. Effective communication, active listening, and interpersonal skills. Ability to identify high-risk psychosocial factors affecting patient health. Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, interdisciplinary team environment. Sound judgment and ability to make timely decisions in high-pressure situations. Commitment to maintain confidentiality and ethical standards.
