The Lab Assistant is responsible for performing various diagnostic tests, collecting patient specimens, and maintaining laboratory equipment and supplies. They must also ensure accurate documentation, manage lab orders via the LIS system, and communicate critical results to healthcare providers.
The position requires a High School Diploma or equivalent. Candidates must be capable of performing physical tasks such as standing and walking for extended periods and possess strong organizational and communication skills.
