Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Ability to recognize and interpret cardiac arrhythmia. Ability to recognize and interpret normal and abnormal hemodynamic responses. In-depth knowledge of coronary and peripheral artery anatomy, as well as cardiac electrical pathways. Ability to operate complex specialty equipment within Invasive Cardiology Labs with demonstrated competencies Knowledge of techniques, methods and competencies of clinical nursing practices Knowledge of safety principles and infection control in the patient care environment Knowledge of standards, policies and procedures of Denver Health as they pertain to nursing Knowledge of safety principles and infection control in the patient care environment Ability to communicate effectively and work in a team-oriented environment Ability to respond appropriately to emergency situations EPIC Skills or other EMR skill required. Proficiency with MS Office preferred.
