The Vascular Surgeon is responsible for planning and executing comprehensive medical care and performing complex surgical procedures on the vascular system. They must also collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and educate patients and their families regarding vascular health and treatment options.
Candidates must hold a Doctorate Degree in Medicine (MD) or Osteopathic Medicine (DO) and possess a valid Florida medical license. Additionally, board certification in Vascular Surgery is required within the timeframe established by the department.
