The Occupational Therapist evaluates patients, develops therapeutic programs, and provides training on adaptive equipment and splints. They also coordinate treatment schedules, document patient progress, and supervise licensed and unlicensed staff.
Candidates must be graduates of an accredited Occupational Therapy Program and hold a current license in the State of Ohio. They are required to have BLS healthcare provider training and the physical ability to perform tasks like lifting and transferring patients.
Education: Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Program; Doctorate degree preferred. Licensure / Certification: Current license to practice Occupational Therapy in the state of Ohio. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Health Care Provider certification required.
