Requires a High School Diploma or GED and current registration as a Certified Nursing Assistant in the State of Nebraska. Candidates must also hold a Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Extended Recovery Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). In this position, you will provide essential support to registered nurses by providing high-quality patient care to post op orthopedic patients. Your role includes encouraging early, frequent mobilization, assisting with activities of daily living, providing emotional support, and ensuring patient safety throughout their journey to recovery. Status Part-Time Shift Days FTE / Hours 0.6 / 24 Schedule Two (2) 12-Hour shifts 6:45a - 7:15p + built in weekends/holidays
High School Diploma or General Educational Development (GED) required.
Registered with the State of Nebraska as CNA required.
Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
Prior Nurse Assistant experience preferred. 1+ year customer service work in a health care setting preferred.
Required Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Basic knowledge of medical terminology preferred and the ability to demonstrate effective communication skills. Ability to problem solve and critically think Strong interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as a team Understanding of infection control protocols and patient care techniques Attention to detail and the ability to follow verbal or written instructions. Uses judgment for routine situations Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
This position is classified as Medium Work in the Dictionary of Occupational Titles, requiring the exertion of 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Physical Demand requirements exceed those for Light Work.
Must be able to pass background check. We also conduct pre-employment physical and drug testing. Any job offer will be contingent upon successful completion of a pre-employment physical with a drug screen, background check and obtaining active licensures per job requirements.
