Provide patient-centered, evidence-based nursing care in the Emergency Department through an interprofessional approach. Formulate clinical decisions, implement care plans, and ensure accurate documentation of patient responses and therapeutic interventions.
Requires an Associate degree in nursing and a valid Nebraska or compact state RN license. Candidates must have at least one year of higher acuity RN experience and hold BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.

Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN). Provides patient-centered, specialized, evidence-based nursing care across the continuum through an interprofessional approach to provide the highest quality of care and clinical outcomes. Status Part-Time Shift Nights FTE / Hours 0.6 / 24 hrs Schedule Two (2) 12-Hour Shifts per week, 7:00pm - 7:00am + built in weekends and holidays
Associates degree required. Graduate from an accredited school/college of nursing required. Bachelors preferred.
Registered Nursing licensed in the State of Nebraska or eligible compact state required.
Required: Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required or completed by end of orientation.
Required Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Ability to rapidly assess patients and prioritize treatment based on severity of condition and provide life-saving interventions when needed Critical thinking skills used to make quick decisions and adapt treatment plans based on changing patient conditions Effective communication and collaboration with patients and their family, team members, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care Capability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining a compassionate approach to patient care Perform technical skills competently and independently to assure patient safety Detailed oriented
