The phlebotomist performs blood specimen collection, EKG testing, and vital sign monitoring for patients of all age groups. They also handle clerical duties, computer-based ordering, and off-site collections at nursing home facilities.
Candidates must be graduates of an accredited medical assistant or phlebotomy program and possess current CPR certification. A valid driver's license and a driving record that meets risk management requirements are mandatory.
Part Time (40 Hours/Biweekly)
Shift: Flex day
Every other weekend and every other holiday
Under the direct supervision of phlebotomy supervisor or designee, performs clerical, phlebotomy (all age/population groups), computer functions pertaining to ordering and collection, EKG, vitals, collection of blood specimens off site including nursing home patients, and other patient care duties in a patient care unit/area.
