Position Purpose

Contributes to the day-to-day operation of the home, in a safe and cost-efficient manner. Identifies opportunities for improvement and actively participates in their implementation.
Essential Functions- Job Duties

Provide support in all areas of daily living as needed by individuals, this may include lifting individuals, assisting in transferring, or moving wheelchairs
Support individuals in obtaining the best quality of life possible by adhering to the residents’ support plan.

Education & Knowledge Requirements- Specific education, certification, and licensure:
High school diploma or equivalent highly preferred
Individuals in this position must have obtained age eighteen (18) prior to first day of employment or transfer into position
Current First Aid and CPR/AED Certification, or willingness to be trained by Cardinal Senior Living during employment.
Essential Job-Related Experience/Abilities
Ability to complete the necessary physical movements to move residents by wheelchair
Ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language
Ability to walk continuously, bend frequently, and sit occasionally
Ability to lift fifty (50) pounds occasionally (1-33% of workday)
Ability to complete and maintain documentation regarding a resident’s status
