The clinical nurse provides direct patient care guided by the professional nursing practice model and utilizes the nursing process and critical thinking. They are responsible for delegating patient care tasks to the interdisciplinary health care team.
Candidates must hold a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from an accredited program and possess at least one year of critical care experience. Current BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association are required.
The Clinical Nurse I, II, III, & IV provide direct nursing care to patients guided by the SFH Professional Nursing Practice Model in compliance with policies and procedures The clinical nurse directs nursing care by utilizing the nursing process and critical thinking skills while demonstrating a commitment for compassionate and quality patient care The CN assumes responsibility and accountability for assigning and delegating patient care appropriately to other members of the Interdisciplinary Health Care Team
Complete and Bachelors of Nursing degree from an accredited Nursing Program Must have at least one year of critical Care Experience Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Life Support (ACLS) required from the American Heart Association
