Provides primary nursing support to physicians and patients to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of conditions. Supports business operations through an understanding of clinic functions and office procedures.
Requires an LPN license and graduation from an accredited school of nursing. Candidates must possess knowledge of professional nursing theory, medical equipment, and safety protocols.
Position Purpose Provides primary nursing support to the physician and patient to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of the patient’s condition. Provides support to the business operations through understanding of business functions. Position Qualifications Education: LPN, Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing Experience/Specialized Skills/Aptitudes Requires knowledge of professional nursing theory and practice; organizational policies, regulations and procedures to administer patient care; medical equipment and instruments used to provide patient care; and common safety hazards and precautions to establish a safe work environment. Requires skill to identify problems and recommend solutions; prepare and maintain accurate records; develop and maintain quality assurance; and establish and maintain effective working relationships with physicians, patients, office staff and the public.
