The Medical Coder II is responsible for coding moderate to complex encounters and ensuring documentation accuracy. They also manage claim edits and denials while mentoring junior staff members.
Candidates must hold an Associate’s degree or have 5 years of medical coding experience. A CPC or CCS certification is required along with a strong understanding of coding guidelines and payer requirements.
Lifekind Health is looking for a full-time Certified Coder II (CPC or CCS) to join our team. The Medical Coder II performs more complex coding assignments. This role requires independent judgment, strong knowledge of coding guidelines, and the ability to resolve more advanced coding issues.
