Candidates must possess a high school diploma and hold a current CMA/RMA (AAMA) certification or an LPN license. A current CPR card is also required for this position.

Job Summary The Patient Care Specialist supports clinical operations under the general supervision of the Nurse Manager in an ambulatory healthcare setting. This role requires a foundational understanding of nursing principles and practices. Responsibilities include assisting professional nurses with various aspects of patient care, administering injections, performing EKGs, collecting specimens, and supporting special procedures and general medical workups. The Patient Care Specialist also performs related non-professional nursing and clerical duties as needed to ensure efficient patient care delivery.
