The orthodontist will examine, diagnose, and treat dental malocclusions and oral cavity anomalies. They are responsible for realigning teeth and jaws using orthodontic appliances and developing comprehensive treatment plans based on patient history and imaging.
Candidates must hold a DMD or DDS degree along with an MSD or Certificate in Orthodontics. A valid dentistry license or eligibility for licensure in the State of Tennessee is required.
