The registered nurse independently performs direct patient care and coordinates comprehensive care plans in collaboration with other healthcare professionals. They are responsible for delegating tasks, documenting encounters in EPIC, and ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the perioperative process.
Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) and a current Texas nursing license. A minimum of 2 years of operating room experience and Basic Life Support certification are required.
Independently performs the functions of a registered nurse in direct patient care. Utilizes the nursing process in the delivery of developmentally appropriate care. Also works in collaboration with other health care professionals to provide a comprehensive plan of care to meet the patient/family needs.
