Independently performs registered nurse functions in critical care settings, including intensive care units and emergency departments. Coordinates comprehensive patient care plans while collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure safety and effectiveness.
Requires a BSN degree and a current nursing license to practice in the State of Texas. Candidates must have at least 2 years of job-related experience and Basic Life Support certification.
Independently performs the functions of a registered nurse in direct patient care. Utilizes the nursing process in the delivery of developmentally appropriate care. Also works in collaboration with other health care professionals to provide a comprehensive plan of care to meet the patient/family needs. Critical care settings are defined as intensive care units and/or emergency department.
