The Surgical First Assist will lead surgical site optimization by positioning patients and managing the operative field through precise tissue manipulation. They will also execute advanced hemostasis techniques and collaborate with the surgical team to ensure the operating suite is prepared for procedures.
Candidates must possess a High School diploma with 2 years of experience or an Associate's/Technical degree. A BLS Provider certification is required within 30 days of hire, and NBSTSA credentialing is preferred.

BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Surgical Assistant credentialed from the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) preferred.
High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
What additional preferences we're seeking 12 hr shift, (3) day a week position with a rotating day off and variable start times between 0530-0700. Call is a requirement on weeknights, weekends and holidays
