LPN, Inpatient Hanna House 3

• Provides safe efficient age specific nursing care to patients/families using the nursing process in order to assist them to attain, maintain, regain, and sustain optimal health status.
• Functions in accordance with the professional standards of the Ohio board of nursing.
• Completes/submits required documentation.
• Delivers effective relationship based nursing care.
• Demonstrates technical skills in care delivery that result in safe practice and positive care outcomes.
• Demonstrates clear communication and effective collaboration to optimize patient care and clinical operations.
• Develops self and contributes to the professional practice of nursing.
• Displays leadership that influences optimal clinical and operational outcomes.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Complies with all policies and standards.

• Must abide by all requirements to safely and securely maintain Protected Health Information (PHI) for our patients.
• Annual training, the UH Code of Conduct and UH policies and procedures are in place to address appropriate use of PHI in the workplace.
• Full time 36 hours per week.
• Patient population is acute care.
• The shift is day/night rotation: Day Shift is 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
• Night Shift: 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
• Additional Regular Compensation: The Hanna House 3 Acute Care department is currently eligible for the Additional Regular Compensation (“ARC”) program.
• In addition to your hourly rate, you will be eligible for ARC in the amount of $2.00 per hour.

Other Accredited Program

• Completion of accredited practical nurse program or currently enrolled in a nursing program required. 2+ years Nursing Experience (Level II only) required. Knowledge of LPN scope of practice according to the Ohio board of nursing. Uses a wide variety of technical equipment to meet patient needs and prescribed clinical therapies (i.e. stethoscopes, thermometers, sphygmomanometers and electronic monitoring devices)
