The Certified Medical Assistant provides clinical and clerical support, including patient rooming, assisting with medical procedures, and maintaining medical equipment. They are also responsible for chart preparation, handling lab results, and performing various administrative tasks such as answering phones and filing documents.
Candidates must possess a High School Diploma or GED and hold a certification as a Clinical Medical Assistant, Registered Medical Assistant, or MA-ARMA. A minimum of 3 months of experience in a healthcare setting and Basic Life Support certification are required.
