The CNA provides direct patient care, including bathing, feeding, and monitoring vital signs while maintaining accurate medical documentation. They also assist with patient mobility, room maintenance, and reporting changes in medical status to the nursing staff.
Candidates must hold a current Massachusetts Nurse’s aide certification and possess at least a 10th-grade education. Proficiency in English and the ability to obtain Basic Life Support certification within 30 days are required.
Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language; Current Massachusetts Nurse’s aide certification; Basic Life Support Certification for Health Care Providers within 30-days of start date; Must demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age-related needs of the residents served; Strong interpersonal, customer service, time management skills; Experience with current office technology, proficient with computer office applications (Electronic Medical/Health Records, MS Office, etc.) preferred.
