The Medical Staff Coordinator leads the Medical Staff Services Office and maintains accurate files for all medical practitioners. They are also responsible for managing committee schedules and overseeing the appointment and credentialing process for staff.
The position requires a high school diploma as a minimum qualification. A bachelor's degree and professional certifications such as CPCS or CPMSM are preferred.
Coordinates and leads all aspects of the Medical Staff Services Office. Maintains accurate files for all physicians, dentists, podiatrists, Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants, all allied health practitioners as defined in the Medical Staff Bylaws / Rules and regulations. Maintains schedules for all medical staff committees / subcommittees, work groups. Manages appointment, reappointment, and changes in status / credentials for all LIP and advanced practice practitioners
