Key responsibilities

As a Dental Hygienist at Clarity Healthcare, you will

  • 🦷 Promote Preventive Care Excellence
  • Perform professional dental cleanings, including oral prophylaxis
  • Educate patients on proper brushing, flossing, nutrition, and preventive dental care
  • 🦷 Be a Patient Advocate
  • Apply topical fluorides and sealants
  • Screen for cavities, periodontal disease, oral cancer, and relevant medical history concerns
  • 🦷 Deliver High-Quality Clinical Care
  • Take and process dental radiographs
  • Perform supra- and subgingival scaling, root planing, and care for acute periodontal conditions
  • 🦷 Support Advanced Dental Services
  • Assist with periodontal surgical procedures
  • Administer local anesthetics (if qualified and licensed)
  • 🦷 Ensure Accurate Documentation
  • Record thorough, timely, and accurate patient medical and dental histories

  • Support and mentor dental assistants as needed

  • Education & experience qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Dental Hygiene
  • Licensed as a Registered Dental Hygienist in the state of practice
  • Current CPR certification
  • Previous experience preferred, but not required
  • Required license/Certification
  • Registered Dental Hygienist License – State of Missouri

  • Solid knowledge of all phases of dental hygiene, including equipment, instruments, and materials
